Torikaya is a modern Japanese restaurant built around the grill, with yakitori, small plates, sushi, ramen, and a more social way to dine. Start with a few dishes, add skewers from the grill, and build the table from there. It’s the kind of place made for good food, drinks, and conversation.

An izakaya is a casual Japanese gathering place, somewhere people settle in, order from different parts of the menu, and enjoy the experience over time instead of rushing through one main course. It is less formal, more relaxed, and centered around the kind of meal that unfolds a little at a time.

A great first visit starts with a few yakitori skewers per person and a couple of small plates for the table. From there, add sushi hand rolls, or ramen depending on what sounds good and how hungry you are. The best way to enjoy Torikaya is to order in rounds, try a little of everything, and add more as you go.

Torikaya is primarily a walk-in restaurant, so most guests are welcome to stop in without a reservation. For groups larger than 8, please call the restaurant directly. Torikaya Whiskey Club members may make reservations.
